Edition 2025 — Inchinata of Cervara

In 2025, the Inchinata Procession took place as per tradition on the evening of August 14th and the morning of Ferragosto. The statues of the Madonna and Christ, having departed from the Collegiate Church and the small Portella church, met in the square of Cervara di Roma, bowing three times, accompanied by a brass band and fireworks. On the evening of August 15th, the festivities continued in Piazza Umberto I.

The 2025 edition of the Inchinata Procession confirmed the deep bond between Cervara di Roma and this ancient Ferragosto tradition. On the evening of August 14th, the two processions made their way through the village alleys until the statues met in the main square, featuring the characteristic triple bow beneath the triumphal arches, the brass band, and the fireworks display. On August 15th, after the final part of the rite, the community gathered in Piazza Umberto I for a musical evening, in a festive atmosphere shared by residents and visitors who returned to the village for the occasion.
