InCanto - Oral Tradition Singing Festival

InCanto 2025: Resistances, from Italy to the world

The thirtieth edition of InCanto, hosted at the Istituto Ernesto de Martino in Sesto Fiorentino, chose as its common thread the theme of Resistances, from Italy to the world, reflecting on the concept of choice during historical turning points.

The festival opened on May 1st with a grand celebration, animated by the Allonsafan Band, Egin, Daniele Goldoni, and other guests, and continued over the following months with events dedicated to Portugal, the GKN struggle, and singer-songwriters. Among the protagonists were Ginevra Di Marco in a tribute to CSI and Beppe Fenoglio, the group Lastanzadigreta, and Letizia Fuochi with her new album, as well as the theatrical show Storia di una Repubblica. The closing party was held on September 28th.
