Edition 2025 — InCanto Barocco Festival
2025 Edition
The fifth edition in 2025 of the InCanto Barocco Festival confirmed the success of the event in Scicli, with sold-out status for each of the scheduled evenings. The program opened on September 5 at Villa Penna with the baroque opera "Amor quando si fugge, allor si trova" by Alessandro Scarlatti.
Among the highlights, on September 7 at the Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, the concert "1685-2025… Homage to Bach, Händel, and Scarlatti" was held, featuring soprano Chiara Ribaudo and Sebastiano Cristaldi on harpsichord; on September 14, a concert dedicated to Bach took place at the Church of Madonna del Carmine; and on September 28, the concert "Intorno a la Serenissima" was held at the Church of San Guglielmo (Mother Church) with harpsichordist Fabio Ciofini and cellist Alessandra Montani. The artistic direction of Maestro Marcello Giordano Pellegrino also guided this edition, which was presented by Elena Pellegrino.
