Edition 2025 — In the Footsteps of Saint Francis

During the 2025 season, Discovery Alto Piemonte offered its guided itineraries to discover Upper Piedmont, between Valsesia, the Biellese, and Valsessera. The themed excursions, such as those following the footsteps of Saint Francis departing from the towns of the Sessera valley, accompanied participants through nature, history, and spirituality in a territory rich in religious memories and mountain landscapes.

Throughout 2025, Discovery Alto Piemonte enlivened the territory between Valsesia, the Biellese, and Valsessera with a calendar of guided tours and excursions. The Franciscan-themed proposals, departing from the villages of the Sessera valley, highlighted the sites and atmosphere associated with the figure of Saint Francis in Upper Piedmont.

These walks offered participants the opportunity to discover paths, villages, and religious landmarks of the Vercelli and Biellese areas, anticipating the spirit of the initiatives for the Franciscan year 2026.
