Edition 2025 — In Hèrtz von Holtz

The 4th edition of In Hèrtz von Holtz took place in Luserna from June 24 to 29, 2025. Five sculptors selected via a call for entries worked on wood for six days, drawing inspiration from traditional crafts, local wildlife, and the children of Frau Pèrtega, a figure from Cimbrian folklore.

The fourth edition of the In Hèrtz von Holtz symposium was held in Luserna from June 24 to 29, 2025, promoted by the Cimbrian Institute / Kulturinstitut Lusérn. Work began daily at 9:00 AM, with the five selected sculptors busy carving wood outdoors in the heart of the village.

The themes of this edition, linked to Luserna's themed trails, focused on traditional crafts, local wildlife, and the children of Frau Pèrtega, a character from Cimbrian tradition. The completed works have joined the collection of sculptures that dot the hiking trails of the Cimbrian plateau.
