Impruneta Grape Festival

The 99th edition of the Impruneta Grape Festival reached its peak on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Piazza Buondelmonti. The day opened at 2:30 PM with a performance by the "Giuseppe Verdi" Philharmonic of Impruneta, before moving into full swing at 3:00 PM with the parade-show of the four districts: Pallò, Sant'Antonio, Sante Marie, and Fornaci. Each district had about thirty minutes to convey its message through allegorical floats, choreographies, and grape-themed music.

The cup destined for the winning district, made entirely of Impruneta terracotta in shades of red and dark gray, was signed by the artist Antonella Andrei. The entire month of September was enlivened by side initiatives: festivals, soccer and cycling tournaments, blood drives, painting exhibitions, markets, and gastronomic competitions, confirming the festival's deep roots in the Impruneta community.
