Imperial Run

The Imperial Run returned to Francavilla Fontana on Sunday, September 21, 2025, confirming itself as one of the most popular running events in the city's end-of-summer calendar. The event, part of the Sport City Day, combined a light competitive dimension with a community celebration.

Organized by A.S.D. Urban Runner with the patronage of the Municipality of Francavilla Fontana and the approval of the Brindisi provincial committees of FIDAL and CSEN, the event featured a non-competitive 10-kilometer course starting and finishing in Piazza Umberto I. The format, open to everyone — runners, walkers, and families — allowed participants of all levels to experience a morning of sports while crossing the Salento historic center.
