Edition 2025 — Impanata Festival

The 42nd edition of the Impanata Festival took place in Castellana Grotte on Sunday, September 14, and Monday, September 15, 2025, enlivening the old town between Largo San Leone Magno and Largo Bari. Two days dedicated to the signature dish of the local peasant tradition, featuring tastings, concerts, pizzica performances, and children's entertainment, marking the end of the city's summer season.

The 2025 edition of the Impanata Festival confirmed its role as a highlight of the end of summer in Castellana Grotte, in the Metropolitan City of Bari. The historic center was transformed into a culinary journey centered around Impanata, the humble dish made of fava bean puree, chicory, stale bread, and extra virgin olive oil, recognized as a Traditional Agri-food Product.

The program alternated between tasting stalls and entertainment: evening concerts, pizzica and folk music performances, and activities for children. The event, organized by the Castellana Conviene association with the patronage of the Municipality, combined food, culture, and entertainment, enhancing the traditions and the fabric of the old town.

Prices
