Edition 2025 — Il senso di un paese
The seventh edition of the «Il senso di un paese» festival, titled «The Year of Discoveries», took place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, in Barbarano Romano, between the Sala Sant'Angelo and the Caiolo archaeological area. The theme of the year was inspired by the discovery of an undisturbed Etruscan tomb in the San Giuliano area.
The heart of the edition was the tribute to two masters linked to the territory: director Marco Bellocchio was awarded honorary citizenship, accompanied by the retrospective «Marco's Province: 60 years of films and still going strong», while artistic director Marco Müller participated via video link. The program also included folk music concerts, nature walks, and documentary screenings. Free admission.
