Il Ritorno dal Bosco

The reenactment Il Ritorno dal Bosco 2025 was held from October 17 to 19 in San Pietro di Valdastico, along the ancient via della Singela. The event, organized by the Municipality of Valdastico with OGD Pedemontana Veneta e Colli, attracted thousands of people over the three days of celebration.

On Friday, October 17, at 6 PM, the official opening featured the lighting of the large woodcutter's stove and the participation of sculptor Marco Martalar and sleddog champion Lisa Bonato with her huskies, followed by live music. Saturday, October 18, was dedicated to folk games and street circus, with the presence of Mauro and Marianna Corona and the cuccagna competition. Sunday, October 19, was the highlight: the grand historical parade descended from the mountain with scenes of past life, ancient crafts, animals, workhorses, folk songs, and the mythological figures of the valley, with writer Matteo Righetto as a special guest.
