Edition 2025 — Il Respiro del Mare

The first edition of Il Respiro del Mare took place from October 1st to 7th, 2025, at the Municipal Auditorium of Ustica. A week of live performances organized by the Municipality of Ustica and the Agricantus Cooperative with the support of the Sicilian Regional Government, featuring theatre, Sicilian comedy, children's shows, and a final concert dedicated to Neapolitan song.

Il Respiro del Mare 2025

The first edition of Il Respiro del Mare brought Ustica to life from October 1st to 7th, 2025, with all events hosted in the island's Municipal Auditorium, in the province of Palermo. The artistic direction was entrusted to Vito Meccio of the Teatro Agricantus.

The program opened with the comedy of Marco Manera and "Pane Amore e Fesserie", followed by Sofia Muscato’s Divine Comedy in Sicilian verse, the show by Ernesto Maria Ponte and Clelia Cucco on the world of school, and Antonio Pandolfo's monologues ("Misiddia"). The final day offered theatre for children and young people by the Nave Argo company and, in the evening, the concert "Napulitanata" by Peppe Servillo and Cristiano Califano, dedicated to the great classics of Neapolitan song.

With affordable ticket prices and discounted rates for residents, the festival represented an important opportunity for live entertainment in the off-season for the island community.

October 1: "Pane Amore e Fesserie" - Marco Manera (comedy); October 2: "Fuoco dell'Interno" - Sofia Muscato (Divine Comedy in Sicilian); October 3: "Mi si è ristretto il banco" - Ernesto Maria Ponte and Clelia Cucco; October 6: "Misiddia" - Antonio Pandolfo; October 7: "La Principessa Stonata" and "A Pinna di Hu" - Nave Argo (youth theatre); October 7, 9 PM: "Napulitanata" - Peppe Servillo and Cristiano Califano.

Prices
