The exhibition is set up in the historic villas of Giussano, particularly at Villa Mazenta, where rooms display handmade nativity scenes created with various techniques and materials. From classic nativity scenes to more original interpretations, each work tells the story of the Nativity with the care and passion of the artisans, in a journey that combines tradition, art, and faith.
An Event for Everyone
Organized by the Gruppo Amici del Presepio (Group of Nativity Scene Friends) with the patronage of the Municipality, the exhibition offers free admission and is open from the Immaculate Conception to Epiphany. It is a perfect opportunity for a family Christmas outing, to rediscover the meaning of the nativity scene and admire the work of those who, year after year, keep this tradition alive in the heart of Brianza.
Il Presepe Racconta — edition 2026
For Christmas 2026, Il Presepe Racconta returns to Giussano for its 24th edition. The exhibition will be open from December 8, 2026, to January 6, 2027, hosted in the city's historic villas, including Villa Mazenta.
The nativity scenes, handmade with various techniques and materials, tell the story of the Nativity in a journey that combines tradition and creativity. The exhibition, with free admission, is organized by the Gruppo Amici del Presepio with the patronage of the Municipality of Giussano. The inauguration is scheduled for the afternoon of December 8.
