Edition 2025 — Il Nigra Cantato

The second edition of Il Nigra Cantato took place in Castellamonte on September 6, 2025, as part of the 64th Ceramics Exhibition. The star of the evening at the Ex Caricatore Ferroviario was Eugenio Bennato, with an intense journey into the folk music of the South. The program also included a morning event at Villa Castelnuovo with Ambrogio Sparagna, the Coro Bajolese, and the Cantori Salesi, in a tribute to Canavese roots and the figure of Costantino Nigra.

The second edition of the festival, directed by Giuseppe Bertero, was held in Castellamonte as part of the 64th Ceramics Exhibition. The highlight was the concert by Eugenio Bennato at the Ex Caricatore Ferroviario, featuring tammurriate, rhythms of the South, and stories of struggle and hope.

Throughout the day, Ambrogio Sparagna also performed with the Italian Folk Orchestra, alongside the Coro Bajolese and the Cantori Salesi, guardians of the Canavese polyphonic tradition, in a program that combined music, culture, and conviviality in the heart of Piedmont.
