Edition 2025 — Il Merendino in Rocchetta

In 2025, the village of Rocchetta in Spigno Monferrato once again celebrated Il Merendino on Easter Monday. The traditional walk around the village and the serving of the Pucia delle Streghe De.Co. renewed a deeply felt community tradition, organized by the Spigno Pro Loco with the support of the Municipality.

In 2025, Il Merendino in Rocchetta confirmed its successful formula: a guided walk through the hills of the Bormida Valley, meeting at the village church, followed at noon by the serving of the Pucia delle Streghe De.Co., accompanied by sandwiches with anchovies and bagnet verd, symbols of Piedmontese gastronomy.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Spigno Monferrato, remains an annual Easter Monday appointment that weaves together nature, history, and the traditions of Monferrato in a convivial atmosphere open to families and visitors.
