Il Fiume e la Memoria 2025: an all-female edition

The twenty-third edition of the festival, promoted by the Pescara City Council's Department of Culture, was held from 15 to 20 July 2025 with a theme entirely dedicated to the female universe and the role of women in contemporary society, under the artistic direction of Milo Vallone.

The 2025 shows

• 15 July – "Le donne al parlamento" by Aristophanes, Compagnia della Memoria, directed by Milo Vallone (national premiere), in Piazza Garibaldi.
• 16 July – "Tutto Torna", itinerant site-specific performance in the historic centre, Compagnia Indaco Teatro Giovani, directed by Federica Vicino (national premiere).
• 17 July – "Amore", with Matilde Brandi, Francesco Branchetti, and Isabella Giannone (regional exclusive).
• 18 July – presentation of the book "Tracce di vita" by Maria Di Concio and the show by Cinzia Leone.
• 19 July – "Donne che parlano di libri" and the concert "Aria" by the Puccini Choir.
• 20 July – "POESIS. Da Saffo ad Alda Merini", theatrical and musical animation at the Giardino Tommolini-Scassa.

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival as one of the most anticipated cultural events of the Pescara summer, in Abruzzo.
