Il Coniglio in Tavola

The 2025 edition and the dispute with the Municipality

In the summer of 2025, the Pro Loco «V. Briganti» of Salvitelle had scheduled Il Coniglio in Tavola and the 2025 San Sebastiano Award for the days from August 23 to 26, during the patronal festivities of the Salerno village.

As in 2024, the association declared that it was organizing the events in total autonomy, without public contributions, donating the previous year's proceeds to the patronal festival committee. However, municipal authorization for the use of the squares remained necessary: the request, sent via certified email on June 3, 2025, received no response, and the Pro Loco had set July 15 as the deadline after which, for logistical reasons, the entire summer program would be canceled.

The situation was intertwined with the revocation, at the end of June 2025, of the association's headquarters in the «A. Moro» building, which had prompted the group to move to private premises via a registered loan agreement at the beginning of July. There are no public records regarding the actual holding of the 2025 evenings.
