2025 Edition at Monte Ciocci

The eleventh edition of Il Cinema in Piazza took place at Parco di Monte Ciocci from June 7 to July 13, 2025, with free screenings every evening from Wednesday to Sunday at 9:15 PM. Organized by the Fondazione Piccolo America, the festival offered a rich program of screenings, meetings, and numerous retrospectives across the three Roman arenas.

The program paid tribute to masters and authors such as Roberto Rossellini, John Carpenter, Franca Valeri, Judd Apatow, Claire Denis, and Park Chan-wook, with a particular focus on genre cinema and subcultures. Among the guests, the inauguration at Monte Ciocci featured the participation of director and actor Michele Riondino alongside actress Vanessa Scalera.
