2025 Edition
The 11th edition of Il Cinema in Piazza took place from June 1 to July 13, 2025, on three Roman screens, with 94 free screenings and 35 special meetings. At the Cervelletta Park in Tor Sapienza, evenings were held from June 5 to July 13, from Wednesday to Sunday at 9:15 PM.
The program featured eleven retrospectives dedicated to masters such as Roberto Rossellini, John Carpenter, Franca Valeri, Judd Apatow, Claire Denis, and Park Chan-wook. Iconic moments at the Cervelletta included the screening of The Warriors in the presence of director Walter Hill, a guest of the Piccolo America Foundation, and the meeting with Brady Corbet. The edition confirmed the popular success of the festival, which had exceeded 120,000 spectators the previous year.
