Il Cinema in Ascolto 2025, the first edition

The debut edition of Il Cinema in Ascolto brought the wireless headphone cinema arena concept to Rome, in the Municipio VIII district, for the first time. At the Polo Civico on Viale Aldo Ballarin, the audience was able to follow the screenings with high-quality individual audio, in a context respectful of the surrounding neighborhood thanks to the absence of amplified sound.

Free admission, a food & drink area, and social evenings accompanied a program dedicated to contemporary cinema, great classics, and documentaries, with meetings between the public and the authors. The positive response to the first edition led to the return of the event, expanded to fourteen evenings, in the summer of 2026.
