Edition 2025 — Il Castello di Libri

The 2025 edition of Il Castello di Libri took place from Thursday, September 11 to Saturday, September 13 in the courtyard of the Castello Caracciolo in Sammichele di Bari. Three days of thought and storytelling, under the artistic direction of sociologist Leonardo Palmisano, promoted by the Municipality together with Radici Future Produzioni and the Legalitria project. At the heart of the programme were major contemporary civil issues, addressed in direct dialogue with the public.

Il Castello di Libri 2025

From September 11 to 13, 2025, the courtyard of the Castello Caracciolo in Sammichele di Bari hosted three days of literary meetings dedicated to "thought and storytelling". Under the artistic direction of Leonardo Palmisano and with greetings from Mayor Lorenzo Netti, the festival featured dialogues with authors and journalists of national importance.

Among the events, the presentation of the volume "Sistemi educativi e devianza. Prospettive di etnopedagogia criminale" (Tlon) by Professor Giusi Antonia Toto of the University of Foggia, in dialogue with Leonardo Palmisano, and the meeting with journalist and correspondent Domenico Quirico about his book "Le quattro Jihad" (Rizzoli). The festival, promoted by the Municipality of Sammichele di Bari with Radici Future Produzioni and Legalitria, confirmed itself as one of the most followed literary events in the south-east of Bari, in Puglia.

  • Domenico Quirico presents "Le quattro Jihad" (Rizzoli), with Davide Sette and a contribution by Gianni Svaldi
