IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship Division I Group A

Before returning to Italy on the Renon plateau, the U18 Women's World Championship, Division I Group A held its 2025 edition in Budapest, Hungary, from January 5 to 11. The format remained the usual round-robin among six national teams, with promotion to the Top Division at stake.

The Italian national team opened the tournament with a 4-3 success against Austria, continuing their journey as one of the protagonists of Group A. The young Italian players confirmed the recent positive tradition of the category, finishing once again in the top positions. The assignment of the following edition to the Ritten Arena in Collalbo, in the municipality of Renon, would bring the event back to South Tyrol in January 2026.
