Identity Week

Identity Week 2025 took place from May 8 to 25 in Pietramontecorvino, offering eighteen events including conferences, excursions, and cultural meetings. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Municipal Administration, the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Foggia and BAT, and the Parish, focused on the identity and development of villages in inland areas.

Among the most significant events were the conference "TRAME. Transhumance, Research, Archives, Memories, Ecomuseum" dedicated to sheep tracks and biocultural heritage, and the General States of the Small Municipalities of the Monti Dauni on May 15, a meeting on the development and depopulation of villages in Puglia, Molise, Campania, and Basilicata. As every year, the heart of the event remained the Feast of Saint Albert the Norman, with the traditional pilgrimage-procession to the medieval Castrum of Montecorvino.
