Ibleo May of Books

The May of Books 2025 brought Scicli and Marina di Ragusa to life throughout the month. It opened on Friday, May 9, at Circolo Brancati with Carmelo Arezzo and Alessandro Di Salvo discussing the "A Tutto Volume" festival, while from May 9 to 11, the SS. Salvatore parish in the Jungi district hosted an exhibition of over 700 religious volumes and periodicals from the FILUSÌ Library, from the collection of Luigi Silvio Fidone.

On May 11, the literary walk "Coasts of Books, Coasts of Sea" covered 3.5 km of the Marina di Ragusa coastline up to the Macchia Foresta del Fiume Irminio Nature Reserve. On May 23, Valentina Notarberardino presented "#Operazione Bestseller" in conversation with Carlo Blangiforti, and on May 31, Lorenzo Guardiano presented "Le iscrizioni greche" with Giovanni Di Stefano. The festival was coordinated by Pro Loco Mazzarelli, Abulafia Editore, Circolo Culturale Brancati, and other local associations.
