Ibbisu Village Fest 2025 - 10th edition
The tenth edition of the Ibbisu Village Fest was held from August 8 to 10, 2025 in the village of Gesso, a hamlet of Messina in the Peloritani mountains, with evenings starting around 8:00 PM in the area of the village's Mother Church.
The Porchetta Festival was also a highlight in 2025, accompanied by street food stalls and local crafts. Regarding entertainment, guests included the Sicilian comedian, singer, and actor Giuseppe Castiglia, while the dance party Ibbisu Village Dance - 90' Party with Gemy DJ brought 90s hits back to the square. The event, promoted by the Associazione Culturale Gesso la Perla dei Peloritani (chaired by Tonino Macrì) with the patronage of the Municipality of Messina, confirmed its commitment to promoting the food, wine, musical, and cultural traditions of the Peloritani region.
