Edition 2025 — I would like to do with you…

The tenth edition of "I would like to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees" celebrated ten years of choreographic research at the Petrella Theatre in Longiano. Between May and June 2025, the festival hosted the works of Elia Pangaro (My body is made out of glass) and Simone Lorenzo Benini in artistic residency and open rehearsal, confirming the formula that places the creative process and direct dialogue with the public at the center of the small historic theatre in the Romagna village.

Ten years of contemporary dance

The 2025 edition marked the tenth anniversary of the project shared between the Petrella Theatre in Longiano (FC) and L'arboreto – Teatro Dimora in Mondaino. The festival opened the rehearsals of two artistic residencies to the public: Elia Pangaro with My body is made out of glass and Simone Lorenzo Benini with his new choreographic work.

As is tradition, each open rehearsal was followed by a moment of meeting and discussion between the artists and the spectators, in the spirit of a festival that makes the transparency of the creative process its distinctive feature. An event that reaffirmed the role of the Petrella Theatre as a small but vibrant hub for contemporary dance in Emilia-Romagna.
