Edition 2025 — Carrelli di Carnevale

In 2025, Soriano nel Cimino also celebrated its Carnival with the traditional allegorical float parades in the historic center, culminating on Shrove Tuesday, March 4th. The floats built by the town's districts, families, and associations paraded amidst masks, music, and confetti, confirming the festival as one of the most attended winter events in the Viterbo Tuscia region.

The 2025 Carnival in Soriano nel Cimino

The 2025 edition of the Carrelli di Carnevale took place during the carnival period, culminating on Shrove Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. As per tradition, the allegorical floats created during the winter by groups of volunteers and local associations paraded along the streets of the historic center of Soriano nel Cimino, accompanied by masked groups and music, in front of an audience of families and children who also arrived from neighboring towns in the province of Viterbo.

The festival, free and open to all, confirmed the vitality of a popular tradition that involves the entire Soriano community and set the stage for the 2026 edition, announced by the municipal tourist portal Welcome to Soriano.
