I Canti di Passione – Ce Custi o Gaddho na Cantalisi

In 2025, the Ce Custi o Gaddho na Cantalisi festival enlivened the Salento Holy Week from April 5 to 16, with fifteen stops and over 350 artists involved. In Sternatia, in the evening at 7:30 PM, a musical procession wound its way from the Church of San Vito to that of Maria SS. Assunta, with the participation of the Cantori di Alezio, the orchestra and choir of the I.C.S. "Falcone e Borsellino", the VivArte Women's Choir, and the Astèria group by Giorgio Filieri.

Promoted by the Union of Municipalities of Grecìa Salentina under the artistic direction of Antonio Melegari and with the support of the Diego Carpitella Institute, the edition was dedicated to Antimino Pellegrino, a historic singer from Zollino who passed away at 93.
