Edition 2025 — Hurdy-Gurdy Festival
The 41st edition of the Hurdy-Gurdy Festival was held in Pragelato, in the Province of Turin, from August 1 to 3, 2025. Organized by the Lou Magnaut Association, the event reaffirmed its identity as a festival dedicated to traditional Occitan music and balfolk.
The program featured evening concerts on Friday and Saturday, accompanied by the usual dance workshops and hurdy-gurdy courses linked to the evenings. Admission was free, in line with the popular and participatory spirit of the festival, which every summer transforms the small Chisone Valley town into a reference point for folk music enthusiasts of the Occitan Alps.
