Edition 2025 — Hunger and Thirst Festival

The 2025 edition of the Hunger and Thirst Festival took place in Filattiera from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22, in Piazza Castello and the medieval village. Three evenings of Lunigiana cuisine in stalls set up in the cellars, with testaroli, spalla cotta, focaccette, and grilled meats, accompanied by live music, ballroom dancing, karaoke, and the Bodeguita with sangria. Free entry.

The 2025 Hunger and Thirst Festival was held in Filattiera (Massa-Carrara) from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22, confirming the success of the event relaunched by the new Pro Loco.

For three nights, the medieval village and Piazza Castello hosted food stalls in the ancient cellars, featuring typical Lunigiana dishes: testaroli, spalla cotta filattierese, focaccette, sgabei, mixed grills, and torta d'erbi, all washed down with local wine and draft beer.

The post-dinner atmosphere enlivened the evenings with ballroom dancing, karaoke, live concerts, and the famous Bodeguita, the corner dedicated to bruschetta and sangria. Free entry and great public participation, confirming the festival's role as one of the events that kick off the summer in upper Lunigiana.
