Edition 2025 — Donkey Palio

The 11th edition of the Humorous Donkey Palio took place on Sunday, April 6, in Marina di Campo, following a postponement due to bad weather in March. The eight districts of the Municipality of Campo nell'Elba enlivened the day with an allegorical parade through the town streets, food stalls, and the traditional donkey race on the beach.

2025 Edition

Initially scheduled for March and then postponed due to bad weather, the 11th edition of the Humorous Donkey Palio was held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Marina di Campo. The allegorical parade, featuring the reveal of the themes chosen by the districts, kicked off at 11:00 AM along the town streets; afterwards, the food stalls opened with local specialties. The main competition on the beach, with amateur jockeys riding donkeys assigned by lottery, took place at 2:30 PM, confirming the success of one of the most beloved folkloric festivals on the Island of Elba, Tuscany.
