Edition 2025 — Human Rights Film Fest

The first edition of the Human Rights Film Fest took place from September 24 to 28, 2025, at the Parco del Torrione Prenestino in Rome. Five days with free admission, structured around focuses on Iran, Taiwan, Eastern Europe, and Palestine, featuring international documentaries, short films, talks, and meetings with directors and activists.

The debut of the Human Rights Film Fest, from September 24 to 28, 2025, brought an international program dedicated to human rights to the Parco del Torrione Prenestino. Each evening, from 6 PM to midnight, was dedicated to a different geopolitical scenario.

The opening day, dedicated to Iran, featured the political thriller "The Witness" by Nader Saeivar and the talk "Woman, Life, Freedom. Art as an act of resistance." The evening on Taiwan hosted Ambassador Vincent Y. C. Tsai and the screening of the documentary "Invisible Nation" by Vanessa Hope. The days on Eastern Europe presented "Eastern Front," "Ukrainian Lyrical," "Of Caravan and the Dogs," and "Tree of Violence." The closing evening on Palestine included "From Ground Zero" and "No Other Land," winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary.
