Homecoming Festival

The 50th edition of the Homecoming Festival, the half-century milestone, was held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Arena Ennio Morricone in Vasto, starting at 8:45 PM with free admission.

Organized by the Pro Emigranti Association and the Municipality of Vasto, the evening featured a performance by the Carabinieri Band and a comedy show by Peppe Iodice, hosted by Paola Cerella with the participation of RAI journalist Alfredo Primante. The Silvio Petroro Award was presented to General Nicola Massimo Masciulli, a Vasto native and then-head of the Legislative Office of the Ministry of Defense; the award includes a replica of the Emigrant Monument and a 5,000 euro donation for social or cultural initiatives.
