Edition 2025 — Holy Week in Collepasso

In 2025, Holy Week in Collepasso reached its peak on Friday, April 18, with the Procession of the Dead Christ and the Stations of the Cross through the town streets (7:30 PM), and on Saturday, April 19, with the Procession of the Desolate Mother at dawn (5:00 AM). The tradition of visiting the 'Sepolcri' altars, set up in five different churches and chapels of the town, was deeply felt.

The 2025 edition of Holy Week in Collepasso confirmed the deep devotion of the Salento community. On Good Friday (April 18), at 7:30 PM, the Procession of the Dead Christ took place with the Stations of the Cross through the town streets; at dawn on Holy Saturday (April 19), at 5:00 AM, the evocative Procession of the Desolate Mother was held.

The tradition of the Sepolcri was particularly well-attended, with the altars of repose set up after the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday in five locations in the town: the Mother Church, the Church of Christ the King, the Church of San Francesco, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, and the Santa Croce square, the destination of the traditional tour by the faithful during the most intense night of the Passion.
