Edition 2025 — Holy Week in Licata

The 2025 edition of the Holy Week in Licata took place from April 11 to 20, with the usual cycle of processions in the historic center. From the Addolorata on April 11 to Good Friday on April 18, and up to Easter on April 20, the Licata brotherhoods renewed the Passion rites before a crowd of devotees, with live streaming on Lanterna Tv.

Holy Week 2025 in Licata

The 2025 edition opened on Friday, April 11, with the procession of the Addolorata (from 9:45 AM), continuing on Sunday, April 13, with Palm Sunday (from 5:45 PM) and Tuesday, April 15, with the Christ at the Column in a joint procession with the Addolorata (from 5:45 PM).

On Thursday, April 17, the return of the Christ at the Column took place (from 9:15 PM). Good Friday, April 18, featured the morning rites (from 12:45 PM) and the evening procession (from 7:00 PM) organized by the Confraternity of San Girolamo della Misericordia, with the 'giunta' and the exit of the gilded urn. Easter Sunday, April 20, concluded with the procession of the Risen Christ.
