Holy Week in Enna

The Holy Week in Enna 2025 confirmed the exceptional strength of the city's tradition. On Good Friday, April 18, at 3:00 PM, the parishes celebrated the unveiling and adoration of the Holy Cross; at 4:30 PM, the procession of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Passion started from the church of San Leonardo, to which the other confraternities gradually joined according to the ancient processional order, paying homage to the Our Lady of Sorrows. At 7:00 PM, from the Cathedral of San Giustino, the solemn procession illuminated only by torches and candles began, with the statues of the Dead Christ and the Our Lady of Sorrows accompanied by the Miserere by Saverio Selecchy performed by a choir of over 160 members. Easter on April 20 concluded with 'a Paci, the meeting between the Risen Christ and the Madonna.
