The 2025 Edition
The 2025 Holy Week in Alimena saw the community gather around its traditional rites in the village of the Madonie, in the province of Palermo. The lamentanze echoed from Palm Sunday until Good Friday, at the altars of repose and during the processions.
On Holy Wednesday, the performance of the Agniduzzu Nnuccenti took place, with the participation of local lamentatori. The 4th edition of the Casazza, the sacred representation of the Passion organized by the "A Casazza" Association, was held on April 19, 2025. Good Friday concluded with the solemn procession of the glass urn containing the statue of Christ, from the Mother Church to the Calvary.
