Edition 2025 — Holy Week

In 2025, the Holy Week in Agnone also offered its traditional rites: the opening of the Sepulchres from Maundy Thursday, the Good Friday procession with the statues of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows from the church of San Francesco, and the Living Passion of Christ on Holy Saturday, performed by the young people of Agnone.

In 2025, the Holy Week in Agnone was structured, as tradition dictates, between the opening of the Sepulchres from Maundy Thursday — with the vigil of the Congregation of the Dead at the Santa Croce church — the solemn Good Friday procession from the San Francesco church with the statues of the Dead Christ and the Virgin of Sorrows, and the Living Passion of Christ on Holy Saturday, performed by the young people of Agnone on the parvis of Sant'Emidio and the steps of Largo Sabelli.
