Holy Week 2025

The 2025 edition opened on Sunday, April 13th, with Palm Sunday: the gathering at the Church of the Passion and the procession with palms and olive branches toward the Mother Church. Holy Thursday (April 17th) featured the Mass of the Lord's Supper with the washing of the feet, followed by a prayer vigil. Good Friday (April 18th) was the most intense moment: at 4:00 AM, the Via Crucis from the Church of San Giuseppe to the Calvary; at 3:00 PM, the procession of Jesus of Nazareth with the re-enactment of the Marian meetings; and in the evening, the procession of the Dead Christ. After the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday (April 20th) celebrated the Resurrection with holy masses at the Mother Church in the town of Casteltermini, in the province of Agrigento.
