Holy Week and Diavolata of Adrano

The 2025 Edition

In 2025, the Easter rites of Adrano followed their centuries-old script: from the Living Stations of the Cross on Palm Sunday to the Diavolata on Easter Day, April 20. In Piazza Umberto I, devils, Death, Humanity, and the Archangel Michael re-enacted the eternal struggle between Good and Evil from the text by Father Anselmo Laudani, followed by the Angelicata and A Paci. The performance, staged at noon and repeated in the evening, attracted a large audience from all over the island as per tradition, confirming Adrano as one of the most beloved destinations for Sicilian Holy Week.
