Holi Festival of Colors (Green Market Festival)

The Holi Festival of Colors 2025 was held on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at the Città dell'Altra Economia in Testaccio, Rome. The event, organized by the EticArte association as part of the Green Market Festival, celebrated the arrival of spring and Indian culture with the iconic throwing of colored powders.

The program alternated between performances and disciplines of Indian tradition—kalaripayattu, hatha yoga, fire dancing at sunset, and Bollywood dance—and numerous workshops for children and adults: face painting, non-toxic resin, pottery, intuitive painting, mandala creation, theater, and pilates. There was also a food area with 100% plant-based cuisine inspired by Indian flavors and a solidarity craft market. The event, with free admission, was family, pet, and LGBTQ+ friendly, held in a barrier-free space in the Municipality of Rome.
