Edition 2025 — Höfina Kirschta

In the summer of 2025, the hamlet of Corti/Hofern celebrated its Höfina Kirschta, the traditional village festival, on the Festplatz Hofern. Live music, dancing, South Tyrolean culinary specialties, and ancient Kirschta customs, such as the raising of the Kirschta-Michl tree, enlivened the weekend, bringing together residents and visitors in a festive and convivial atmosphere in the heart of the Puster Valley.

The 2025 edition of the Höfina Kirschta took place as tradition dictates in August on the Festplatz in Corti/Hofern, a hamlet of Chienes/Kiens in the Puster Valley (Province of Bolzano).

Organized by the Freizeitverein Hofern, the festival featured the typical customs of the South Tyrolean Kirchtag: the raising of the Kirschta-Michl tree, live music and dancing, South Tyrolean culinary specialties with Tirschtlan prepared on the spot, the Mountain Mass, and games for children. An authentic and heartfelt celebration, expressing the identity of the small community of Corti.
