Historical Re-enactment of the Wheat Harvest and Threshing of Ruscello

The 2025 Historical Re-enactment of the Wheat Harvest and Threshing was held in Ruscello (Arezzo) over two weekends, from July 17-20 and 24-27. The program featured the re-enactment of wheat threshing, with a parade of vintage tractors, wooden carts, and working oxen, alongside the Sagra dell'Ocio e dei Maccheroni: macaroni with goose sauce, oven-baked stuffed neck, onions in a pan, and roasted goose. The eight nights of ballroom dancing featured numerous traditional orchestras, including Federica Cocco, Marianna Lanteri, Manuel Malanotte, Matteo Bensi, Luca Bergamini, Omar Lambertini, Matteo Tarantino, and Rossella Ferrari e i Casanova. In 2025, part of the proceeds was again donated to the Agazzi Institute to support projects for people with disabilities.
