2025 Edition
In the summer of 2025, the Donkey Palio confirmed its place among the most anticipated events in the Grosseto Maremma. As per secular tradition, on August 14, the five districts of Roccatederighi (Corso, Torre, Tramonto, Nobili, and Ventosa) faced each other in the donkey race, preceded by the 15th-century historical costume pageant with participants, drummers, and flag-wavers.
The event, organized by the Pro Loco Roccatederighi in collaboration with the Municipality of Roccastrada, attracted residents and visitors to the medieval village, renewing one of the most deep-rooted popular festivals in the area.
