Edition 2025 — Historical Pageant of Saint Rita

The 23rd edition of the Historical Pageant of Saint Rita of Cascia took place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Castelvetrano, starting at 5:30 PM from the Saint Rita staircase in Piazza Stazione. Hundreds of costumed participants, accompanied by flag-wavers, Aragonese drummers, and musicians, reenacted the Saint's life in seven tableaux vivants throughout the city's historic center.

2025 Edition

The 23rd edition of the Historical Pageant of Saint Rita of Cascia was held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Castelvetrano. The parade started at 5:30 PM from the Saint Rita staircase in Piazza Stazione, winding through the streets of the historic center to the Sistema delle Piazze.

Numerous groups took part in the edition, including the Giocolieri di Stendardi di Delia, the Sbandieratori di Caccamo, the Aragonese Drummers of Castelvetrano, and the CLAMAR Dance Academy, along with hundreds of costumed participants. The re-enactment, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, confirmed the strong bond between the Castelvetrano community and the tradition of Saint Rita.
