Edition 2025 — Magi Parade of Aci Platani

In 2025, the Historical Magi Parade once again enlivened Aci Platani on January 6th, the day of the Epiphany. The equestrian procession, with over 250 participants in period costumes, traveled through the village streets to Piazza IV Settembre, where the sacred pageant of the history of salvation concluded with the adoration of the Magi before the Baby Jesus.

The 2025 edition of the Historical Magi Parade of Aci Platani, in Acireale (Catania province), took place as per tradition on January 6th, the feast of the Epiphany, in the morning. The procession of costumed participants reached the small church of La Pietà, then descended along Via Vittorio Emanuele III to arrive at Piazza IV Settembre.

The performance of the history of salvation took place there, with living tableaux of biblical episodes and the arrival of the three Magi on horseback who laid their gifts before the Holy Family. Horses and riders, provided by the Scuderia Nicotra, and costumes hand-sewn by local seamstresses confirmed the strong involvement of the entire Aci Platani community.
