Historical Carnival of Persiceto 2025 — 151st Edition
The 151st edition was held in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bologna, Emilia-Romagna) from February 22 to March 2, 2025. The highlight days were Sunday, February 23, with the opening and the Speech from the Crown by King Bertoldo, and Sunday, March 2, with the final parades and awards.
Scheduled were 9 papier-mâché allegorical floats, 3 individual masked groups, and 6 group masked parades, all protagonists of the characteristic 'spilli' and satirical dialect 'zirudelle'. The event opened on Saturday, February 22, with the 11th "Camminata della Corte di Re Bertoldo" (Walk of King Bertoldo's Court).
