Edition 2025 — Carnival of Monterubbiano

The 2025 edition of the Carnival of Monterubbiano was held on Tuesday, March 4th, Fat Tuesday. Children's costumes were the stars, amidst fun and folklore, with the usual tasting of local specialties based on polenta. Organized by the Pro Loco of Monterubbiano with the patronage of the Municipality.

The 2025 Carnival of Monterubbiano focused on the little ones: from 3:30 PM, musical entertainment animated the afternoon with children's costumes. From 6:00 PM, it was time for gastronomy, with polenta, sausage sandwiches, and French fries, accompanied by various drinks and with the option of takeaway. The event, organized by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality, aimed to recreate the traditional Monterubbiano Carnival, linked to the ancient Roman Saturnalia and the famous 'mmazza Carnovà' ritual, in which a figure disguised as a doctor pretended to operate on "Carnevale."
