Historical Carnival of Montanaro

The 51st edition of the Historical Carnival of Montanaro kicked off on Sunday, February 23, 2025, with the investiture ceremony in the Piazza Donatori di Sangue pavilion. The official masks of the year were Ciaplera Giorgia Ghiosso and General Massimo Baro, accompanied by a court of bridesmaids and heralds and the historic masks of the Zecca di Fruttuaria. The calendar featured the traditional bean feast (fagiolata) offered by the 2006 conscripts and the grand finale on Monday, March 3, with the evocative night parade of allegorical floats and the burning of the scarlo, which symbolically closed the festivities.
