Edition 2025 — Parade of the Turks
The 2025 edition of the Historic Parade of the Turks confirmed the great popular appeal of the Potenza event, with the parade of hundreds of costumed participants and the inevitable lighting of the Iaccara in the heart of the historic center, concluding the San Gerardo celebrations.
In 2025, the Historic Parade of the Turks once again animated the streets of Potenza on the evening of May 29th, as part of the San Gerardo patron saint's celebrations. The historical procession, with its costumed participants, floats, and three narrative scenes, traversed the city center up to the lighting of the Iaccara, confirming the event as one of the most cherished identity appointments in Basilicata.
