Historic Carnival of San Giorgio Canavese

The 51st edition of the Historic Carnival of San Giorgio Canavese was held in San Giorgio Canavese from February 27 to March 6, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco and dedicated to the memory of Gianluca Pintus.

Thursday, February 27, marked the opening with the presentation of the Castellana Monica Scaglia and the General Claudio Trinchero, accompanied by the Flag-wavers of Cherasco and the Carlo Botta Philharmonic. Among the most heartfelt moments were the distribution of Fagioli Grassi, the Children's Carnival with the burning of the Mini Babacio, and the dinner in honor of the historical characters. The event concluded with the burning of the Babacio in the square, while the final Fat Dinner sealed a highly attended edition.
